I have a confession. This is my first blog. I have written a lot of blogs in my head- just not on paper. But I want everyone to know how excited i am about the classes coming to the rec. centers in January. "Lord of the Rings/Hobbit". What a great story/symbolism and characters. We are going to have so much fun!
Enter the world of middle earth with-hobbits, elves, dwarfs, and wizards to present a “Lord of the Rings/Hobbit Festival”. Learn acting skills like projection, improv, and characterization while getting ready to put on a Middle Earth festival for your family and friends." This will be offered at 2 location: Peachtree City Parks and Recreation on Thursdays from 5-6 and Fridays from 5:30-6:30 at Fayette County parks and Recreation. I am moving "Friendship Craze" to Peachtree City on Thursdays from 5-6. I have to make these decisions 6 months in advance. If I had known the class in Fayette was going to do so well this fall I wouldn't have messed with it. We are putting Friendship Craze with the theme of Lord of the Rings. Enter the world of elves, humans, hobbits, and dwarfs and band together while saving middle earth. Through the class you will learn about yourself and getting along with while creating a “Fellowship of the Rings”. This class will have a different Hobbit-related theme each day that will relate to friendship skills and positive thinking. Sara Parker, a National Certified Counselor presents “Friendship Craze” to help build stronger friendships. If you love the world of “The Hobbit” and want to learn how to make and keep friends, and have tons of fun doing it, Then this class is for you! And lastly I am going to do a Cooking Craze class with the Hobbit theme. Yum, scones, apple bread, pork pie, smoothies. This will be on Fridays from 4-5 in Fayetteville. I can't wait for these classes. I have been doing research. It has been so fun to brainstorm. If anyone has some fun ideas please let me know!!!!! I absolutely adore teaching these classes. These are so fun! And the kids are awesome
